Lacquerland Furniture Finishers started operating 22 years ago and George Johnson started there as manager 20 years ago . In 2006, under Georges capable hands, Lacquerland got the franchise for painting splashbacks, the first in the Bay . In December 2012 George and Joanna Johnson took over Lacquerland and George on playing around with painting glassware in his car shed at home discovered a way to give glass platters , plates and bowls a new look and suggested to Joanna that she run stalls at local markets selling Georges creations. Lacquerlands main income is painting Kitchens , House doors and Furniture but painting Splashbacks is becoming more popular everyday.
